Comparing Teaser And Theatrical Trailer of Transformers

Below is the teaser and theatrical trailer of Transformers Age Of Extinction.

Teaser Trailer:

Theatrical Trailer:

  • The theatrical trailer is three minutes long whereas the teaser trailer is just over 30 seconds.
  • Both have the production company logo in the beginning, in the the teaser trailer it is shown very briefly
  • There is more detailed information and narrative of the film in the theatrical trailer, so we know what the movie is about and the characters inside it whereas in the teaser trailer doesn't give us much information of the film and don't have an understanding of the story.
  • Both of the trailers end off with billings and credits as well as the release date.
  • The editing is faster in the teaser trailer, it fades out on numerous occasions whereas in the theatrical trailer the editing is a lot slower.
  • They both have taglines but it is different and there is more in the theatrical trailer.
  • Both have the name of the film on it.the theatrical trailer.
  • In the teaser trailer it gives us the 'eye candy' bits of the movie.
  • The sound effect and the music in the teaser trailer is tense and dramatic throughout, whereas in the theatrical trailer it starts off with slow, calm music which is when the characters are introduced and it starts to give the backround of the story, then the music intensifies, it becomes serious and that is when something gripping is about to happen.I have noticed there is one music throughout the teaser trailer and in the theatrical trailer there is a number of music tracks.
